Some of our fundholders at the DJCF have created funds to address issues in a specific area of interest. We are fortunate that our donors fill needs in our community and we are able to make annual grant distributions to worthy organizations and individuals. Helen E. Risch Preschool Scholarship Endowment Fund

This fund was established to increase Jewish preschool enrollment and provide financial assistance to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity for a Jewish preschool education. Preschool directors apply for this scholarship on behalf of students with financial need.

March of the Living Scholarships

DJCF is proud to host all Dallas-area scholarships for March of the Living. Please note we have need-based and merit-based scholarships.

The Sylvan T. Baer Foundation

The Sylvan T. Baer Foundation, Bank of America, N.A. Trustee was established in 1965 by Mr. Baer in honor of his parents to assist needy and deserving Jews in the Dallas Community. The 2023 application process is now closed. It will reopen in the Fall of 2024.

David, Rose, and Morris Feldman Memorial Scholarship Fund

Jill Stone Foundation of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation

This fund was established to honor the memory of Jill Stone through an annual grant to a charitable agency whose mission is to benefit the residents of Vickery Meadow. The 2023 application process is now closed. The 2024 process will open in October 2024.
